The Climate Collaborative is a fantastic organization that works to activate rigorous climate action across the grocery industry. Serving hundreds of companies including food brands, distributors, retailers, and grower associations, they share knowledge, organize collaborations, and facilitate policy engagement.

Their popular Commitment Program highlights nine high-impact pathways for climate action—packaging, regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, food waste, and more—then offers the resources, expert guidance, and a peer learning network tailored to support progress in those areas to participating food companies. Founded in 2017, the group now tracks the public climate commitments and catalyzes practical climate actions from more than 700 companies!

Together, the Climate Collaborative works to scale solutions to successfully meet the challenge of emissions from the food system and overall environmental sustainability . Climate Positive, which participated in the Climate Collaborative’s Expo West Climate Day in 2026, is honored to serve as resource, a supporter, and a new member of this great organization.
